Hi Ella,

Nice to hear from you.  I still have not received an answer.  I will try a last time 

over the long weekend to talk to both of them.  

One of my colleagues had some issues when traveling to Taiwan before.  I believe he

got into some kind of issues with the officials at the immigration.  I personally do not know

exactly what happened, but he might not be allowed to visit any more, but Taiwan is

a different country, I believe.  In any case, I will try to find out and give it a last try this

weekend.  We have a group barbecue at the Groom Lake exit off of Highway 375 -

a godforsaken place for having a BBQ, but over a couple of beers, I might get him to

join.
